  • Programme Objectives:  

    The objectives of MPhil Education are to:

    • Provide leadership to prepare educational leaders for educational institutions of public and private sectors
    • Enable to conduct various types of research and their importance in education
    • Provide the learners with knowledge about educational plans, policies and their implementation
    • Provide skills in methodology of conducting various types of research and their importance in education
    • Enable the learners to use various techniques of educational measurement and evaluation
    • Enable the learners to be familiar with the modern trends in educational process
    • To develop critical and reflective skills for improvement of educational practices
    • To develop analytical approaches in the learners for the future professionals in the field
    • To develop a theoretical background for contemporary theory and practices in the field of education
    • To boost the potentials for the implementation of reflective teaching practices in higher education
    • To develop research and assessment skills to promote research culture in the field of education

    (For those having minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 and have passed University Qualifying Examination)

    Course Duration:

    Duration of I semester -18 weeks

    Admission Requirement:

    Candidates having 16 years of education or equivalent from any recognized university.

    Selection Process:

    Entry test (subject specific) and interview

    Riphah International University, Faisalabad Campus

    Classes Days:

    Saturday and Sunday (two days in a week)

    Class Timings:

    Saturday 3.00 PM to 7.00 PM and Sunday 8.00 AM to 7.00 PM
