BS Clinical Psychology Program Educational Objectives

The BS Clinical Psychology program aims to:

  • Pursue professional practices in clinical psychology

or advanced studies based on the technical skills and knowledge in mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and supported disciplines.

  • Encourage students to develop and use abstract models in addition to applying respective technology in practical situations.

  • Provide practical skills to the students to initiate their career in hospitals, mental health clinics, and various organizations related to clinical psychology.

  • Prove mastery of the clinical psychology knowledge and skills necessary to work as a professional clinical psychologist, by demonstrating an understanding of current psychological models, therapeutic techniques, and mental health practices.

  • Provide formal foundations for higher learning.
