BS Operation Theater Technology Program Educational Objectives

The BS Operation Theater Technology program aims to:

  • Pursue professional practices in operation theater technology or advanced studies based on the technical skills and knowledge in surgical procedures, patient care, and supported disciplines.

  • Encourage students to develop and use abstract models in addition to applying respective technology in practical situations.

  • Provide practical skills to the students to initiate their career in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations related to operation theater technology.

  • Prove mastery of the operation theater technology knowledge and skills necessary to work as a professional operation theater technologist, by demonstrating an understanding of current surgical techniques, patient care models, and healthcare practices.

  • Provide formal foundations for higher learning.
