M.Phil Biochemistry Program Educational Objectives

The M.Phil Biochemistry program aims to:

  • Pursue professional practices in biochemistry or advanced studies based on the technical skills and knowledge in molecular biology, enzymology, metabolism, and supported disciplines.

  • Encourage students to develop and use abstract models in addition to applying respective methodologies in practical and research situations.

  • Prove mastery of the biochemistry knowledge and skills necessary to work as a professional biochemist, by demonstrating an understanding of current biochemical models, laboratory techniques, and research practices.
