MS Accounting & Finance Program Educational Objectives
The MS Accounting & Finance program aims to:
Pursue professional practices in accounting and finance or advanced studies based on the technical skills and knowledge in financial analysis, auditing, corporate finance, and supported disciplines.
Encourage students to develop and use abstract models in addition to applying respective methodologies and technologies in practical and financial decision-making situations.
Provide practical skills to the students to initiate their career in accounting firms, financial institutions, corporate finance departments, and government agencies related to accounting and finance.
Prove mastery of the accounting and finance knowledge and skills necessary to work as a professional accountant or financial analyst, by demonstrating an understanding of current financial models, accounting standards, and financial management practices.
Provide formal foundations for higher learning and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and innovation in the field of accounting and finance.
