PhD Biochemistry Program Educational Objectives
The PhD Biochemistry program aims to:
Pursue professional practices in biochemistry or advanced research based on the technical skills and knowledge in molecular biology, enzymology, metabolism, and supported disciplines.
Encourage students to develop and use abstract models in addition to applying respective methodologies in practical and scholarly situations.
Provide practical skills to the students to initiate their career in academic institutions, research organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and various organizations related to biochemistry.
Prove mastery of the biochemistry knowledge and skills necessary to work as a professional biochemist, by demonstrating an understanding of current biochemical models, research techniques, and laboratory practices.
Provide formal foundations for higher learning and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of biochemistry.
