BS Sports Sciences Program Educational Objectives
The BS Sports Sciences program aims to:
Pursue professional practices in sports sciences or advanced studies based on the technical skills and knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics, sports psychology, and supported disciplines.
Encourage students to develop and use abstract models in addition to applying respective methodologies and technologies in practical and athletic situations.
Provide practical skills to the students to initiate their career in sports organizations, fitness centers, educational institutions, and health and wellness industries related to sports sciences.
Prove mastery of the sports sciences knowledge and skills necessary to work as a professional in the field, by demonstrating an understanding of current sports models, training techniques, and performance enhancement practices.
Provide formal foundations for higher learning and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and innovation in the field of sports sciences.
