MS Information Technology Program Educational Objectives

The MS Information Technology program aims to:

  • Pursue professional practices in information technology or advanced studies based on the technical skills and knowledge in software development, network security, data management, and supported disciplines.

  • Encourage students to develop and use abstract models in addition to applying respective technology in practical and innovative situations.

  • Provide practical skills to the students to initiate their career in industries, research organizations, and companies related to information technology.

  • Prove mastery of the information technology knowledge and skills necessary to work as a professional IT specialist, by demonstrating an understanding of current IT models, software engineering techniques, and cybersecurity practices.

  • Provide formal foundations for higher learning and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and innovation in the field of information technology.
