18 years of education (MS/M.Phil.) will be required for admission in the PhD Mathematics program with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.00 on the 4.00 scale in the semester system or 60% (in the annual system) in the most recent degree obtained as per HEC criteria.

Academic Qualification: 30%
Test/Interview: 70%

Degree Duration and Requirements:
To complete Ph.D. degree program, a candidate must

  • Complete 20 credit-hours course work.
  • Qualify Comprehensive Examination.
  • Present the 1st Seminar in 4th or 5th Semester of Ph.D and 2nd Seminar in 6th Semester.
  • Attend workshop on Computer Tools for Mathematics or MAT 692 Research Methodology.
  • Present pre-submission seminar prior to submission of Ph.D thesis.
  • Prepare a Ph.D thesis of 30 credit hours.
  • Meet other requirements as per rules and regulations and prescribed procedure of the university
    and HEC minimum criteria for Ph.D. Program for award of Ph.D. degree
