PhD Psychology Program Educational Objectives
The PhD Psychology program aims to:
Pursue professional practices in psychology or advanced research based on the technical skills and knowledge in clinical psychology, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, and supported disciplines.
Encourage students to develop and use abstract models in addition to applying respective methodologies in practical and scholarly situations.
Provide practical skills to the students to initiate their career in academic institutions, research organizations, healthcare facilities, and various organizations related to psychology.
Prove mastery of the psychology knowledge and skills necessary to work as a professional psychologist, by demonstrating an understanding of current psychological models, research techniques, and clinical practices.
Provide formal foundations for higher learning and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of psychology.

18 years of education (MS/M.Phil.) will be required for admission in the PHD Psychology program with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.00 on the 4.00 scale in the semester system or 60% (in the annual system) in the most recent degree obtained as per HEC criteria. |
